Hi, while i will be researching on software engineering, i will like to gain knowledge on cyber security research on securing a password for accounts. In other hand cyber security is refer to the protection of network and computer system from cyber criminal to damage users software, hardware or electronic data. As a software engineering student, how to choose a secure password is very important because it is the key to digital kingdom (technology) which should be closely protected.

There are variety of ways to secure a password which i already know and they will be;

• Avoid use of the same password across multiple account.
• Do not use words, birth date, addresses or phone number for a password.
• Make a password of at least eight(8) characters long.
• A unique combination of upper n lower case letters, symbols and numbers.

While the above ways to secure password are important for accounts, there is a TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION method that double the securing of password which i will like to look into.
